Various level form beginners to teacher training, everyone is welcome! Yoga is an old discipline from India. Yoga uses breathing techniques, exercise and meditation. It improves health, happiness and mind-power. Yoga is the Sanskrit word for union.
Patanjali was a pioneer of classical yoga. He defined yoga as "the cessation of the modification of the mind." through the practices of:
Aasanas: physical postures and movements
Pranayama: breathing techniques
Dhyana: meditation

Our resident osteopath, Richard Sobande, can not only help alleviate back pain and problems, but will work with you to help prevent re-curing problems in the future.

‘Clear, Focused Mind and Inner Peace’
True meditation is learning to live in the present moment at all times. Our FREE meditation classes teach you techniques for focus and relaxation that allow you to deal with the day to day challenges of life with a clear and focused mind and without reacting. If you enjoy the meditation session and would like to make a small donation, all monies will go to charities that support children with disabilities. Our meditation class is free and runs every Tuesday evening. No need to book - just turn up - no equipment needed. Make time for Yourself!

• At Union Yoga our aim is to make Yoga accessible to everybody regardless
of age, gender, physical or mental condition.

• To 'de-mystify' this ancient art and teach it in a manner that is clearly
understood.

• To provide a safe and comfortable environment to enable you to fully relax
and release all your tensions. A space where you can come to switch off
from the outside world. A space that becomes your private sanctuary to
enable you to re-charge your batteries and gain some inner and outer peace
and calmness.
