Ecuador is a remarkable country. The home of three World Heritage sites: Quito, Cuenca and the Galapagos Islands. Ecuador also has three distinct regions: the Amazon Jungle, The Andes and the Coast. Boasting the most bio-diversity in the world it is still a country that is unspoiled, friendly to tourists, inexpensive and has some of the best food in South America. It's indigenous culture is vibrant and constitutes over 50% of the population. The country is stable financially and politically, the currency is USD and in Vilcabamba the weather is probably the best in the world (eternal spring)
