The wooded setting, the rolling fields, and the lake at Bethany Spring provide unique opportunities for reflection and prayer. Bethany Spring, located one mile from the Abbey of Gethsemani, offers an ideal atmosphere of prayer-filled quiet. Individuals come to the Center for several days, a week, or longer.

Groups enjoy the intimate atmosphere conducive to building community. Lodging includes a seven bedroom house, a hermitage, a couple's cottage, and a two-bedroom house.

At Bethany Spring, we invite you to enter into a more contemplative way of being by re-discovering and deepening your relationships with yourself, God, others, and nature. Attend a guided retreat or private retreat.

Bethany Spring is an inclusive facility welcoming everyone who realizes that our “true journey in life is interior.” (Merton)
