Located on the Hartland Peninsula, Downe looks West over the Atlantic, North to Lunday Island and East into Bideford Bay.

Downe provides an exclusive retreat in some of the most beautiful coastal scenery in the United Kingdom. Visitors can walk out of Downe's grounds and immediately find themself of some of the most beautiful miles of the North Devon Coastal path.
