An intimate B&B style retreat featuring an enchanted natural wonderland in a forest along a bold stream, bordering 4,000 acres of riparian green space along the Rappahannock River, 1 hour south of Washington DC. 2 rooms with separate entrances share a bath on the bottom level of the lodge. There is a carpeted great room with stereo for yoga, meditation, or movement. A library. An outdoor hot tub. An 11 circuit classical outdoor labyrinth. A sweat lodge. Fabulous primitive camp site along stream. Small camp trailor with stove and frig for more civilized camping. Hiking, Birding, Fishing, Swimming in the River, are the usual recreational activities. For a more spiritual focus, Darlene offers various classes and one on one work in meditation, nature and psyche interfaces eco-psychology, shamanism, depth psychology, Vision Quest and Sweat Lodges among other natural methods of expanding consciousness and working with ones life story as ones spiritual path. Truly an enchanting and mind blowing experience!
