The Spirituality Center and Subiaco Hermitage at Saint Benedict's Monastery offer a peaceful space to restore your body and feed your spirit. The Spirituality Center also offers programs throughout the year. A recent schedule is available by clicking on the "Spirituality Center" tab on our web page. Subiaco Hermitage is set off on the edge of a field, with access to miles of hiking paths through our woods and restored prairie. Private rooms are also available in the Spirituality Center, with a fireplace lounge, gazebo and labyrinth.

Central Minnesota is a beautiful area about 70 miles from Minneapolis. The Spirituality Center is part of Saint Benedict's Monastery, which also has the Haehn Museum with exhibits and artifacts from over 150 years of history and Whitby Gift Shop and Gallery with handmade items by the Sisters. The monastery's 1914 Sacred Heart Chapel has daily Eucharist and Liturgy of the Hours and all are welcome to pray and worship with the Sisters. The monastery adjoins the College of Saint Benedict. Five miles down the road is Saint John's Abbey and University, with beautiful Lake Sagatagan and Marcel Breuer architecture. The city of St. Cloud on the Mississipi River is only eight miles away and offers many cultural, shopping and scenic opportunities.
