Established by Swami Sivananda Radha in 1963, the Ashram welcomes people of all ages and spiritual traditions. Radha’s successor, Swami Radhananda, continues the tradition of encompassing ancient and modern perspectives. The result is at once practical and inspiring.


The peaceful atmosphere and abundant natural beauty support spiritual practices that bring quality to every aspect of daily life: faith, family, work and community.

Treatments

In the summer the Ashram hums with courses, celebrations, and teacher training programs. Any time of the year, the Ashram is a place to go within, grow, and be inspired by the beauty of our natural surroundings. Enjoy a yoga retreat. This place is amazing - beautiful setting, peaceful, spiritual, inspiring, uplifting, nourishing. I return again and again and again and leave renewed and transformed each time.

Yasodhara Ashram is an oasis filled with peace, love and beauty, perfect for a retreat. This is where I found ancient Teachings of highest quality which over time transformed me and then my life. Everything in the Ashram, from the people who live and teach there, to the environment, to the food served, is imbued with quality.Here is found an example how life can be lived, awareness rises to show what is missing in our world. The Teachings of Yoga are offered to all who are drawn to this place of Light. From my perspective this is a holy place where I feel somehow lifted out of time and above ordinary reality. Give yourself a huge gift in coming to this place of Light.

For me, Yasodhara Ashram is a spiritual centre that offers sacred space for inner work and transformation. The teachings of Swami Radha are both practical and mystical. I highly recommend the ashram to anyone with a longing to know and the desire to begin a journey of self discovery

I woke up here this morning, moon shining on lake, white, white snow gently resting on tree branches. Breathtakingly beautiful. So warm, inviting, spacious! It's so nourishing in every way.

The Ashram teachings and incredibly compassionate teachers have realigned my life, allowed me to develop and expand my thinking and interactions in such a positive way, I will be forever thankful. The natural setting and 'holistic' lifestyle maintained here all add to the experience. If you are looking for somewhere to go to review your direction in life, restore your energy and explore your future.... look no farther.
